Jeff joined Boston Organics in January as a driver. He wears a ski cap, even when the weather is hot, and he likes to make home fries. Here's some more about Jeff.

Tell us about yourself.

I graduated from high school in 2001 and moved to Boston a couple years later. I own too many guitars and punk rock records. I live in Brookline with my future wife. I love leaving town, and once in a while my band goes on tour. I try to bike everywhere I go. I will read anything written by H.G. Wells, Ray Bradbury or Jules Verne.

I spend my weekends making cut/paste record art, fliers, and posters for bands by standing at a copy machine for hours. I like listening to loud music, seeing bands, cooking, and going to the movies.

Tell us about your band.

I'm in at least three bands. I play guitar and sing. It's loud punk music. I've toured the country a bunch. We borrow a van and usually get a couple flats along the way.

Where are your favorite places to play?

Austin, Texas, is great. I also like playing in the smaller towns. Everybody shows up because there's not as much going on.

What's involved in making cut/paste record art?

Bands hire me to make record art for them and I also create posters for the bands I'm in. I've never known Photoshop at all. I'll go to Kinkos with a huge stack of Life magazines from the 40s and 50s and I'll cut and paste stuff. I used to do junk removal and my buddy and I got so many old magazines. It's endless source of material. It takes like four hours to make one page or record cover but I feel like it's a better result.

Do you like to cook?

I do like to cook. Lately, since I've been working at Boston Organics I've been making crazy home fries. There's so many different types of potatoes that we send out and I've been using turnips, too. I add onions, rosemary, garlic, green peppers, mushrooms -- and sometimes hot sauce.
