It's still spring but it's starting to feel like summer. Temperatures were in the 90s recently, so we thought it was a good time to remind our customers about steps they can take to insure that their delivery isn't damaged by the heat.
PUT out a cooler
If you would like to leave a cooler out for us, your delivery driver will transfer as many items as possible from your new box into your cooler to help keep things fresh. It's up to you, but we strongly recommend leaving out a cooler for milk and cheese deliveries. If you choose to leave a cooler out, please let us know by emailing us at email@example.com.
If you choose to leave a cooler out, please leave a note on it that says "Boston Organics delivery" and leave some ice packs in there too. Here's a sign that you can print and tape to your cooler like in the image above.
give us a key
If you're not able to promptly bring in your delivery, there's a chance some of your produce may wilt on hotter days. We are bonded and insured to take keys to everything from entryways to apartments to homes.
Update your delivery instructions
If you'd like to change your delivery instructions for the season (perhaps from an uncovered front porch to a covered back entryway with key access) you can do that on our website or shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
check your email
Keep an eye out for an email alerting you when your delivery arrives. Once your delivery has arrived, an email alert will be automatically sent allowing you to retrieve it ASAP. Let us know if you’re not receiving these alerts.
Thank you for helping us provide you with the best service possible.
