One Fund FlagWe are deeply saddened by the tragic events that happened at last week's Marathon, and our hearts and thoughts are with everyone impacted by the acts of violence. We want to do what we can to help. The One Fund Boston, an initiative put forth by Governor Patrick and Mayor Menino, is raising money to help those families most affected by the tragic events at the Boston Marathon. Boston Organics customers are now able to donate to One Fund in $5 increments as an add-on. We will be matching the first $500 donated. Thank you for your help!

As an appropriate symbol of renewal and life, today is Earth Day. In addition to our year-round support of organic agricultural methods, we're celebrating environmental stewardship in a few ways this week. On Tuesday we're attending the Harvard Law School Earth Day Fair, and Tuesday afternoon we'll be helping kids, teachers, and families clean and prepare the Warren Prescott School Garden in Charlestown.

This week's produce is a nice mix of flavors, including rosemary, yellow Satina potatoes, zucchini, and chard. Add-on strawberries, blueberries, and potted basil plants continue this week. Check out the newsletter!
