Weekly Newsletter - April 22, 2013

Posted by Amy Levine on Apr 22, 2013 4:51:13 AM

We are deeply saddened by the tragic events that happened at last week's Marathon, and our hearts and thoughts are with everyone impacted by the acts of violence. We want to do what we can to help. The One Fund Boston, an initiative put forth by Governor Patrick and Mayor Menino, is raising money to help those families most affected by the tragic events at the Boston Marathon. Boston Organics customers are now able to donate to One Fund in $5 increments as an add-on. We will be matching the first $500 donated. Thank you for your help!

October is Non-GMO Month!

Posted by Boston Organics on Oct 1, 2012 5:42:18 AM

October is Non-GMO Month!

We are excited to announce that Boston Organics will be participating in Non-GMO Month 2012 this October!

Non-GMO Month is an opportunity to coordinate our voices and our actions, so that we can stand up loudly and clearly for our right to know what's in our food, and to choose non-GMO foods.

Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are plants or animals created through the process of genetic engineering. This experimental technology forces DNA from one species into a different species. The resulting GMOs are unstable combinations of plant, animal, bacterial and viral genes that cannot occur in nature or in traditional breeding.
