We want to take some time to celebrate and appreciate many of the growers and farm teams that allow us to do the work that we do and to enjoy some of the most delicious organic produce in the region.

Rockhill Management, a commercial real estate company that owns several buildings in Downtown Boston and throughout the US, watched as tenants left to move to trendy neighborhoods like The Leather District or Seaport. As a result of shifting makeup of office buildings Downtown, they decided a change in culture at their buildings would go a long way.
"The market has really changed downtown," said Jennifer Twombly, a senior property manager at Rockhill. "It went from a very traditional base to trying to attract companies from the Seaport and Cambridge that are getting priced out of those areas.”
"We started saying we need to attract different types of businesses here."

Since the creation of Equal Exchange 32 years ago, people and relationships have always been at our center. Coffee, chocolate, tea, mangoes, cashews; these are the mediums which allow us to show the world that ethical supply chains are viable and that there is more than one way to do business. Radicalism lies within the Equal Exchange model -- i.e., a supply chain that is characteristic of true democracy, cooperative learning, transparency, and respect for our planet and its people.
