CDC is updating its warning to consumers. It advises that U.S. consumers not eat and retailers and restaurants not serve or sell any romaine lettuce harvested from certain counties in the Central Coastal growing regions of northern and central California. If you do not know where the romaine is from, do not eat it.

Boston Organics will only source Romaine lettuce from regions that are cleared by the CDC.

As a customer, you can always update your preference list and give a thumbs down to Romaine lettuce if you do not want to receive it in your order. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Although no Romaine lettuce was sent to any customers, except in the Olivia's Organics Salad mixes, we wanted to provide you with the following update....

Due to the multi-state E coli outbreak linked to Romaine lettuce, customers will not receive Olivia’s Organics salad mix on November 21st.

I would like to take a moment to thank all of our customers, farmers, suppliers, employees and business partners for helping to make Boston Organics possible.

In order to bring everyone the fresh ingredients they need to prepare and enjoy their feasts, we have an adjusted delivery schedule during Thanksgiving week.

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and here at Boston Organics we are sending our gratitude to all of those who make our work possible - from our dedicated staff and drivers, our local farmers and producers, to our customers and community partners. Each year we are committed to giving back to our local community. Here are four ways you can join us in our efforts to give back this holiday season.

 On Saturday October 20^th from 11am to 6pm and Sunday October 21^st from 10am to 4pm, you can join Boston Organics at the 23^rd annual Boston Veg Food Fest! The food fest will be held at the Reggie Lewis Athletic Center located at 1350 Tremont Street, Boston MA. This event is free, has free parking and is T accessible! Over 100 vegetarian, vegan and natural food vendors will be on site to answer all of your natural food questions, offer samples and introduce you to their products and services.

Summer may be almost over which means soon our summer favorites like fresh tomatoes, summer squash, eggplant, peppers and more will give way to the fall classics like carrots, radishes, winter squash and lots of hardy greens. But that doesn't mean we have to say goodbye to summer flavors. Check out our tips for freezing, quick pickling and canning to help savor the taste of summer for months to come!

 The Boston Local Food Festival is here! Boston Organics and more than 75 of your favorite local farmers, chefs, restaurants, artisans, and service organizations will be filling up The Rose Kennedy Greenway on Sunday September 16th from 11am to 5pm. This free food fest is not to be missed!

Summer may be close to over but we're hoping to stay green all year long! Check out these steps that you can take toward a green office.
