Our customers do not need to choose the Dogma box to support local farmers. Though there is no legal definition for the term "local", at Boston Organics we take a more regional approach by sourcing much of our local produce from the northeast region (Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine).

We may think of winter as the season for movies, when the news is abuzz with Oscar speculation. But during the summer months, Boston offers free outdoor movies that are almost as abundant as delicious local greens. You can catch anything from Zootopia to Raiders of the Lost Ark all across town, from the Hatch Shell to Assembly Row. Make sure you have everything you need for your sunset movie picnic by getting it delivered right to your door. Don’t forget the popcorn!
In these dog days of summer, we definitely find ourselves thinking about crawling into a hammock in the shade for a nap, especially when the long days are can be so full of play and activity. Whether or not you’re taking time away from work, there are plenty of ways to give yourself a mini vacation and invite some fun and whimsy into your summer—from cocktail hour snacks to frozen treats—all incorporating produce and groceries delivered right to your door.
A weekly update from Boston Organics.
Even though it gets dark before we even head out for our evening commutes, we love this time of year because the longer evenings mean we can get away with putting on our PJs earlier, curling up on the couch with a book or eating comforting foods. The good news is that even though winter is almost here, we never have to sacrifice freshness and quality in the foods we most enjoy.
They say that April showers bring May flowers, but they also bring delicious fruits and vegetables! The extra long winter has made spring feel a little slow in coming, but we have new produce items appearing every week and this one is no exception.

Blueberries are blue, sweet potatoes are sweet (though not actually potatoes), but eggplants miserably fail to live up to the expectations that their name creates. Though you can make a delicious eggplant omelet, you will still require a hen's contribution.
The summer is flying by and we're piled high with seasonal produce from our network of organic farms!
Jonathan's Organic, one of our closest farm partners in Rochester, is bringing us their prized organic sprouts. Atlas Farm has also been growing a fabulous collection of bell peppers, eggplants, and zucchinis for us to enjoy this week! And while we wait for Atlas Farm's tomatoes to ripen on the vine, we're fortunate to be getting plenty of fresh field tomatoes from Blue Ox Farm.
This week's newsletter also contains recipes to help you get the most out of your box, information about our new Late July Tortilla Chips, and a special link that will let you order 5-pound flats of wild organic blueberries!
