Top Recipes of 2016

There's no doubt about it, the Boston Organics Community sure ate well in 2016. Our farm partners and other suppliers kept us in fresh fruits and vegetables all year long, and it was a joy to see the shift from citrus and root crops in the winter to tomatoes and stone fruit in the summer, and to enjoy all the delicious produce in between.

To start 2017 off on the right foot, we decided to share our  top-clicked recipes of the past year, to offer the opportunity to reprise tasty favorites or to find new inspiration for the year ahead.

2016 Local Season Recap

Boston Organics is grateful to all of our farm partners who supply us with nutritious local produce no matter the season. The days are becoming ever-shorter, the nights colder, and farmers are starting to put the land to bed for the winter. Though their work continues, we are past peak local season in New England. In this slower time, we take a moment to reflect on the growing season, and themes we noticed during our early September visit to Atlas Farm, Lakeside Organics of Hadley and Queen’s Greens, three of our farm partners in Massachusetts’ Pioneer Valley.
